Buhler Versatile Logo

Buhler Versatile

In the year 2000, Buhler Industries brought the venerable Versatile tractor lineage under its umbrella, acquiring it from New Holland along with the Winnipeg operations. Versatile had already earned a strong reputation as a prominent builder of robust, four-wheel drive tractors for agricultural use. Following the acquisition, Buhler initiated a strategic effort to reposition the tractors under the Buhler-Versatile banner. However, in 2007, Rostelmash, a leading combine harvester manufacturer based in Russia, secured a controlling interest in Buhler. This led to a return to the classic Versatile name for the tractor line, effectively phasing out the Buhler designation.
