Huber

For over a century, Huber was a prominent name in agricultural machinery, originating in Marion, Ohio, where they crafted farm tractors up until the onset of World War II. Established in 1865, the company initially specialized in the creation of steam engines and a wide array of farm implements. A pivotal moment arrived in 1898 when Huber pioneered the integration of a gasoline engine into a steam tractor framework, ultimately leading to the production of a comprehensive line of gas-powered tractors by 1911. With the advent of World War II, Huber shifted its focus to the production of construction equipment under government directive. The company was divested in the 1960s, and regrettably, the Marion manufacturing facility ceased operations in 1977.
