Lenar
In the early years of the 21st century, Lenar operated as an American company specializing in the importation of tractors manufactured in China. Their initial foray into the market began in 2003 with Jiangling tractors. However, challenges arose in their relationship with Jiangling, compounded by Mahindra’s acquisition of the Jaingxi production facility, prompting a strategic shift in 2005 toward Dongfeng tractors. Lenar broadened its reach by establishing a network of distributors across Europe, but ultimately succumbed to financial pressures, leading to the company’s cessation of operations in 2008.
