LS Tractors originated as an integral part of Hyundai's operations. Subsequently, in 1983, the tractor segment transitioned ownership to GoldStar. Reflecting a corporate evolution, the division became known as LG Tractors in 1995, coinciding with GoldStar’s rebranding. A significant shift occurred in 2005 when the engineering team established its independence from LG, adopting the name LS. For several years, LS provided tractors to Montana Tractors for distribution within the United States. However, in 2009, LS Tractor USA was founded, allowing the company to engage with the American market through direct sales.
