The company’s origins trace back to 1927, when it began life as the Mississippi Road Supply Company – a key distributor for International Harvester and a variety of other construction-related machinery. Subsequently, M-R-S evolved, undertaking the assembly of sizable tractors utilizing engines and transmissions sourced from external suppliers. Unfortunately, the company faced financial difficulties and ultimately declared bankruptcy in 1987.
