From 2004 until 2011, Montana Tractors operated as a nationwide distributor of both compact and utility tractors within the United States. While LG (subsequently LS) of South Korea served as the principal manufacturing force behind Montana's offerings, the Montana product range also encompassed tractors sourced from a diverse group of manufacturers including Escorts, Kukje, Sonalika, TYM, and UTB/Universal. The direct entry of LS Tractors into the American marketplace in 2010 effectively severed Montana's core supply line. Despite diligent efforts to establish an alternative tractor procurement channel, these proved fruitless, leading Montana to cease the sale of new tractors by the close of 2010.
