
Pennsylvania lawn tractors
During the 1960s, Pennsylvania Lawn Products was a notable manufacturer of lawn and garden tractors. Originating in 1877 as the Pennsylvania Lawn Mower Works, the company initially specialized in crafting both manually-propelled and animal-drawn reel mowers. A shift in ownership occurred in 1962 when Pennsylvania was acquired by Panzer Products, a segment of Virginia Metalcrafters. For a period, tractors from the Panzer collection were marketed under the familiar Pennsylvania brand, continuing until 1969. Ultimately, in 1973, the Pennsylvania tractor division transitioned to the ownership of AMF.
