Power-Flex lawn tractors
Originating in Colorado during the latter part of the 1950s, Power Flex garden tractors represented an ambitious venture into outdoor power equipment. The company’s genesis occurred in 1958, spearheaded by Wilbur Gibson, the inventive force behind Gibson tractors. Sadly, Mr. Gibson’s life was cut short just a year later, leading to a transition of leadership. Trans Western assumed control of operations, subsequently rebranding the company as Harvey Power Flex under the direction of its president, Harold Duane Harvey. Historical records suggest that production ceased around 1960, marking a brief but noteworthy chapter in garden tractor history.
