Sears lawn tractors

The story of Sears’ involvement with lawn tractors began in 1959, initially through the David Bradley Suburban line. By 1964, the David Bradley designation had been phased out, and the recognizable Craftsman moniker began to emerge, becoming fully established by the 1970s. Today, every lawn and garden tractor offered by Sears bears either the Craftsman or Craftsman Professional emblem. Over the decades, various manufacturers have produced these tractors, with AYP and MTD becoming the primary suppliers in more recent times.
