Springfield lawn tractors

From 1961 through 1966, Springfield tractors originated from the workshops of Quick Manufacturing, located in Springfield, Ohio. Quick was a prolific creator of outdoor power equipment, specializing in both tillers and compact two-wheel tractors. A significant legal battle concerning rototiller technology, ultimately lost to Simplicity in 1965, marked a turning point for the company. Consequently, in 1966, Quick Manufacturing transferred ownership of its entire operation to the Toro Company.
