Yard-Man lawn tractors

The story of Yard-Man begins in 1933, in Jackson, Michigan, with the crafting of classic reel push lawn mowers. The brand's trajectory led to its acquisition by Montgomery Ward, a prominent department store that became a key distributor of Yard-Man products. In 1975, MTD became the new owner, leading to the eventual closure of the original Jackson manufacturing facility. Later, in 2015, MTD decided to retire the Yard-Man name from their line of tractors.
