Enhancements for the 2021 Case IH Puma 150 and 165 Models
Case IH – June 21, 2021
Case IH is unveiling a series of improvements to its Puma tractor family, engineered to deliver increased operational efficiency, operator convenience, and expanded versatility. These advancements include extended service intervals and refined styling cues, all designed to bolster productivity and create a more comfortable in-cab environment. Case IH previously announced updates for Puma models 185 through 240 last October – now, those productivity benefits are being extended to the Puma 150 and 165.
“Farmers require innovations that empower them to accomplish more with less time invested, and this 2021 Puma series delivers precisely that,” stated J.E. Cadle, Mid-Range Tractor Marketing Manager. “Puma tractors have long been celebrated as highly adaptable machines, built to provide a broad spectrum of efficient solutions. Now, with lengthened service intervals and styling improvements informed by valuable customer feedback, the newest Puma models will equip operators with even greater capabilities.”
Extended Service, Reduced Fuel Consumption
Case IH’s advanced Hi-eSCR2 emissions technology offers farmers superior productivity alongside decreased fuel usage, improving engine responsiveness and longevity while minimizing emissions. All 2021 Puma series tractor models feature extended service intervals, maximizing uptime with 750 hours for engine oil and 1,500 hours for transmission fluid.
“Our new Hi-eSCR2 technology represents a significant leap forward in productivity,” Cadle explained. “By reducing downtime for maintenance and boosting fuel economy, these efficiencies translate directly into tangible time and cost savings for operators.”
Styling Refinements Guided by Operator Input
Extensive customer insights have shaped the latest styling features, including a redesigned hood and enhanced LED work lighting, creating a consistently bright and well-illuminated workspace. Consequently, these improvements empower farmers to achieve greater precision in the field while maintaining a comfortable cab environment.
“These customer-focused updates to the Puma series are all about cultivating an elevated operational experience,” Cadle emphasized. “From superior lighting that enhances efficiency in all conditions to a redesigned hood that optimizes visibility, these enhancements provide operators with the tools necessary to complete their work with ease and comfort.”
