Minneapolis-Moline

The Minneapolis-Moline legacy began in 1929 with the unification of three prominent agricultural companies: Minneapolis Steel and Machinery, the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company, and the Moline Plow Company. Minneapolis Steel contributed valuable expertise in tractor design and manufacturing, having previously built machines for both Case and Bull, alongside their own successful Twin City line. By the late 1930s, Minneapolis-Moline introduced the revolutionary model UDLX Comfotractor. This innovative machine boasted a swift high-speed transmission and a fully enclosed cab equipped with heating and a radio—a level of operator luxury that significantly surpassed the standards of its era. In 1963, White Motors acquired Minneapolis-Moline, ultimately discontinuing the Minneapolis-Moline brand name in 1974.
